Hakkasan Mayfair

Hello everyone !

It’s finally Friday, I went out for dinner with my friend last night, and the food was amazing. Coming from Asia, it’s not easy to find a really good Asian place and the taste is so familiar to home. This restaurant sure did make happy, regardless of the fact that I wasn’t happy about my test earlier.

Hakkasan is definitely my favourite Chinese restaurant in London thus far. The restaurant has a very modern interior, and the atmosphere is great, except for the fact that it is quite difficult to talk to one another, it gets quite noisy from time to time.
Okay. Let’s just move onto the food. đŸ™‚

Starter – BBQ Short ribs.
This was amazing ! The meat just fall of the bone and it’s so so tender.

Mains
Water prawn with cashew nuts and dried chili.
This is so good, it was my favourite main. The prawn was crispy and slightly spicy.

Sweet and sour Duke of Berkshire pork
This is a dish that you should order at a Chinese restaurant, and Hakkasan brought the true taste of sweet and sour pork.

Clay-pot chicken
The chicken was so tender for this dish, it has dried chili but it wasn’t spicy at all, the dish was very flavourful.
Dessert – Souffle

I love souffle, doesn’t matter what flavour it is. And this one was banana with salted-caramel. It was delicious đŸ™‚
