Brussels – Belgium

Hi everyone,
I’m so sorry for have been away for so long and not updating my blog. I was in Singapore for the F1 race and I’ve gotten sick till now.
I’ve just started my first day of university yesterday so everything is kind of busy right now.
I finally found the time to post this, this is pictures from my trip to Belgium. (I was sick during the trip so I did not have the energy to take a lot of pictures).

So I went to Brussels for the weekend though I was sick because I had booked the tickets in advance and I didn’t want to waste the opportunity.
Though I did not take a lot of pictures, I had a great time there, the places I visited are beautiful and the food was delicious.
We started out at the Grand Place and walked through every corners of Brussels. The architecture of the city is beautiful.

This cafe grabbed the most attention for me because it situated right in the Grand Place and the way it looks with flowers in the front, made it stand out from all other cafe nearby.

And of course, Belgium is famous for its chocolate, as you walk around Brussels, you will find chocolate shop in every single corners.

We then visited the oldest shopping mall (galleria) in the city, it looks grand with chocolate shops on one side and clothing & accessories shop on the other. I got myself a few things here, a lot of chocolate of course: the regular chocolate, the truffles chocolate, the unique chocolate boxes which each flavour is created by different chef around the world. And one more thing I got here that I absolutely love is the leather glove that can be use for iPhone, so I’m all protected from the winter cold and enable to use my phone without taking off my gloves.

This was my outfit for the first day, please excuse my tired face. I didn’t take the look in details, I’m going to recreate this look in my future post.

The second day in Brussels was just a chill day for us, we went to see the Atonium, which was 30 minutes away from the city centre. And next to the Atonium was a place called MINI-EUROPE, with all the mini version of all the best of Europe in one place.
It was a sunny day so all I had on was the sweater, this looks is perfect for autumn weather. 🙂

I had mussels for lunch and I have to say, it was the best mussels that I’ve ever eaten. (Sorry that I don’t have the picture, I forgot to take a picture of it). But all I have to say is that you have to try mussels if you happen to find yourself in Belgium. 🙂

After the Atonium, we went for waffles before we leave for London. And I’ve got to say, I’m not a big fan of waffle cause I always find them very sweet. However, I had to try Belgium waffle since it’s one of the famous dishes that Belgium has to offer. And it was amazing!! This place has probably the best waffle in Brussels, and you should definitely try out, the place calls Dandoy Tea House, it situated right in the city centre.
Hope you guys enjoy this post!

Have a good week ahead!
Love,
