A month to blossom

A month to blossom

March is here and meaning it’s another month for me to continue on my journey of positive changes. Since January, I have been adopting changes to my life, which I hope results in an end goal of a healthy lifestyle, allowing my body to feel good and energize. However, I do not know how long this process will take, one thing I do know that it will take time and it’s the journey that I’m willing to go on. With just 2 months into this journey, I can already see and feel my body change in such a way that I absolutely love, I feel more energize and happier than I was before. I exercised almost every day with one rest day a week, this achievement is something I’m extremely proud about because with the busy work schedule, I still find time to work out. On top of that, I can feel my body getting stronger, as I can continue, I was able to exercise for a longer period of time with breaks in between of course. However, towards the end of February, my exercise routine was already taken up to 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours of my day. The time it takes for me to exercise was starting to take too much out of my day, which started to worry me going into March. February was a good month, I felt like I’ve done a lot but I know that I was going to have a great deal of work in March, I was getting worried about the fact that I won’t be able to find time to exercise. Fortunately for me, at the end of February, my favourite workout instructor on the internet, Cassey Ho released her PIIT program, which only gonna take out about 35 mins of my day to exercise including warm-ups and stretches. It was such an awesome news to me and I purchased the program immediately. But I don’t just exercise, I also choose healthier food choices to allow my body to detox and feel good.

Over the two months, I planned out my day so that I complete tasks to meet deadlines. However, I still haven’t get a good hang of how to plan out my day well enough that I don’t get stress out over the fact that I haven’t completed all the tasks I set out. This is something I will still have to work more this month, and hopefully overtime, I will know how to plan my day better. Now that exercise only take out 35 minutes of my day will allow me to complete more tasks. You can see here that I have a Erin Condren planner, which I carry around with me and my big calendar to note down the main things so I can look at whenever I sit at my work desk (allowing me to keep my eyes on the end goal). The end goal is more important to me than the steps, personally it doesn’t matter how many steps it take for me to get there, it can take as little as 3 simple steps or as much as 100s or 1000s steps, as long as I get there. So don’t get put down by the fact that it takes you longer to solve a certain problem or completely a certain task, the road to success is not an easy one, but it’s not impossible to get there.

And because I’m still on this journey to change my lifestyle, I decided to name this month of March to be ‘a month to blossom’. The reason for this is personally, January and February were the months for me to get comfortable with the changes. Now, March will be the month to carry on with those changes and see how my body feel. Along with completing goals that I’ve set out, which include working on my blog, upload more videos and my personal projects.

I want this month of March to inspire you to blossom and achieve goals that you set out for yourself. Keep your eyes on the prize and you will definitely get there!
