Alternative New Year Eve

Alternative New Year Eve

Hi there,

How are you celebrating your new year? Society has grown into making it necessary to attend New Year Eve Party, to do the countdown and some even get drunk. I’ve nothing against that I had plenty of parties like that before and they do have their fun, but I do prefer a little down time for myself. I’ve decided to spend this New Year Eve quiet and relaxing; I’m gonna share with you some of the things that I’m planning to do and maybe it will inspire you to see that it’s okay to spend New Year Eve without parties and countdowns.

The reason that I want to spend this New Year Eve without loud music and drinks is because I want to wake up on New Year day fresh and awake, ready to take on the new year with a clear head! (rather than a hangover!).

I’ve decided to read more in 2016 and I thought what is better than trying to finish the book that I’ve recently started. I might be a little late on the wagon of #Girlboss, regardless, it’s still a great book and it’s never too late to start. Reading a good book while enjoying a hot cup of tea in this cold weather is something I would truly enjoy and definitely gonna put a smile on my face before the new year.

Or if you reading books is not your cup of tea, then how about catching up on your favourites shows or movies? You can have some close friends, who also prefer a quiet New Year Eve come over a movie night and you can still do countdown at midnight! I might have a Star Wars marathon if I finish the book, I’ve never been into the series but after I watched the Force Awaken with my friends, I’ve since became a fan!

Then I’m off to bed and ready to take on a New Year with a fresh mind.

But if you’re going out on New Year Eve and want to have some outfits idea, go check out my previous post on New Year Eve outfits.

Happy New Year!

I will see you in 2016!
