October Favourites

Time has just flew by seriously!!! I have just came back from my trip in Tokyo last week, though I wanted to have this post up during my trip, I was busy with meetings and shopping within meetings. But don’t you worried, I’m still gonna be posting articles that are related to my two trips to Japan very soon.

However, let’s first talk about October Favourites! Just warning, this article is more about beauty favourites! I have been really indulging in beauty products lately, trying out different things. And the fact that I have to go to work every single day! And I mean every single day! I don’t think I actually had a day off last month. I think I have managed to take down my daily makeup time to about 5-10 minutes and I’m ready to get out of the house. From my last trip to Japan, I got this foundation from a drug store, I was just pick up anything I see that could possibly be good cause drug store in Japan is nothing like I have seen before. I find this foundation blends really great onto my skin, and it stays throughout the day, but you do have powder if you have oily T-zone like I do. However, I do get a lot of compliments about how smooth my skin looks when I use this foundation. I know it can be hard to get your hands on this foundation but if you can, you definitely should.

Another foundation is this Mineral powder foundation, my friend got me this for my birthday, I’ve never been a fan of powder foundation cause I don’t find them compliment my skin very much. However, I find this one okay, and it actually cuts down my makeup time as I don’t have to spend time blending like liquid foundation. I do find apply primer before keeps the powder stays better though.

The next favourite is this cream makeup removal I got from a Korean brand, Nature Republic. Unlike another cream or oil base makeup removal, this doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily after cleanse, the feeling like it hasn’t been wash off properly (do you know what I mean?). I find this is also much more gentle on my skin than using makeup removal wipes or liquid makeup removal.

Another favourite is this awesome blush I got from drugstore in Japan, it is really pigmented and the swirl looks amazing. And another is this primer I got from Nature Republic, I have been using it ever since I got it, it has became an essential for my everyday makeup look. It helps hold everything together and keeps my skin feeling smooth the entire day.

IMG_8895False Lashes is another favourites, I think I’m getting a lot more comfortable with applying lashes now than I used to. I got bunch of lashes from Japan, I mean Japan is like heaven for false lashes, I can get all kind of lashes there, from natural to party ready. I prefer those natural lashes though, cause I have really short lashes so I having natural looking false lashes make me really happy. Many people thought those were my real lashes! I only wish!

  • Hey would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using?
I’m looking to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a tough
time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most
blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique. P.S Apologies
for getting off-topic but I had to ask!
