UMU Restaurant

Happy Friday everyone!!

I should have written this post ages ago but I had completely forgotten about it. So, back in June before I fly back to Vietnam, I went to this Japanese restaurant with a friend for what I would call a goodbye dinner as we won’t be seeing each others for months. And now two months plus has passed then I realised I haven’t post my experience at this restaurant.

Okay, let talk about the restaurant and the food, first of all, I would like to start out to say that this is a one Michelin Star restaurant, and it’s a Japanese cuisine place. My first impression of the restaurant is it is a little bit hard to find, but the door entering the restaurant is quite cool, as you need to touch your palm on a screen to open the door. Moving onto the dishes, which were simple but unique in its own way, some dishes have so much delicacy in its details, like the soba noodles where the soup resembled a lotus pond. Then another special dish was the grade 11 wagu beef, the meat was literally melted in my mouth, it was so good. Anyway, I had a good overall experience at UMU, but I thought it was quite pricey for the amount of dishes.
