Passage 53

France is known for its fine dinning, and I was so glad that I got a chance to try out this place in Paris. This restaurant has the style of French-Japanese fusion cuisine, it was such a great combination, the dishes were light and flavourful.

There is no fixed menu, the concept is surprise menu.

Taster – this dish is made out of carrot, it tastes a little too sweet for me. But I think it helps cleanse the palate before tasting all the food.

Starters

Sea urchin

This is a signature dish of the restaurant, and probably my favourite dish, the calamari is just melted in my mouth.

Mains – Seafood

This is the best monk fish I have ever eaten, it was not soft, it was crunchy and full of flavour.

Next, they served this dish to cleanse the palate before moving on the meat dishes.

Foie-gras

Baby pork with potato

I had never have that much truffles in my life and to be honest, I think it was a little too much. In my opinion, I think truffles taste best when there’s fewer of them.

The venison was perfectly cooked.

Lastly, desserts was served, they were delicious but I was too full by the end and I couldn’t finish all of them.

Hope you guys enjoy this post !
Love,
