Casually Roma

So.. exams is over and it couldn’t have started any better! I got to go to Italy with 2 of my best friends, it was such a wonderful experience. I got to see beautiful cities, meet lovely people and had great food.
The trip was a bit of rush, since we only had 8 days for 4 cities and we only had about 1.5 days to see Rome and capture all of its beauty.

As we wanted to visit the Vatican City and the dress code was quite strict so I decided to go with something that is not showing too much skin, at the same time, good enough to take nice photos. So I decided to go with this lovely white crop top from Forever21 and jeans from Miss Selfridge, and with this shinny shoes from Miss Selfridge

And of course, it wouldn’t be right to not posting some of the photos that I captured of the beauty Roma. The city is filled with history of the past that is such a fascination of the present. The Roman Empire had such a remarkable achievements, they were able to build a grand civilization. Though it is sad that not much of it remain till today, what’s left is already incredible enough.
First of all, anyone who visited Rome, need to go see the Colosseum, where all the gladiators got to fight for their life and only 2% of them could survive the fight. The Colosseum architecture is so remarkable that picture cannot capture all of it. I was mesmerized by how grand it looks in real life.

Below are pictures of areas around the Colosseum, shows what’s remained of the Roman Empire..
The next destination in Rome is no other than the Vatican City, below is the panoramic view of the city, it was such a beautiful spiritual city, everything just seem so perfect there. (Sorry for the bad photo, I was trying out with the panoramic function on my camera and still haven’t gotten the hang of it till now…)

There are so many beautiful attractions in Rome, and we couldn’t finish them all since we had limited time but we try our best, here are some of the other attractions that we got to see…

Trevi Fountain
Not to mention, this incredible street artist, she creates painting just by mixing the colours and tapping it on the paper with one single brush.
As I mention throughout the post, photos just cannot capture all the beauty of Rome, the architectures of the past is magnificent. You should definitely visit Rome, if you have not yet been there.
