Sidewalk

Sidewalk

I recently took a little break from work to explore more of Japan, the last two times I was there, I only went to Tokyo but this time around I will be visiting Kyoto and Osaka as well. I will do my best to upload as many detailed posts as possible.

The first morning there, we went to have breakfast at this famous fluffy pancake place name:

West Aoyama Garden, Aoyama

Seriously, the pancake was super fluffy and has just a right amount of sweetness but I think I’m an American pancake kind of girl, where there are toppings like strawberries, blueberries. This Japanese fluffy pancake is quite filling, it would take two of me to finish it.

We took a taxi there and went straight inside the restaurant, I had no idea how beautiful the sidewalk was, as I stepped outside after we’re finished. I saw the beautiful sidewalk covers with greenery, I just had to take some photos. As I was editing this post, I realised my outfit on the day was blending in quite well with the scenery, the floral pattern on the two-pieces is as the flowers blossoming in the garden. If you’re wondering where this two-piece from, I had it tailored here in Vietnam, I found the fabrics at the market in Hanoi and had it made into this outfit. I love the fact that it’s a two-piece but look like a dress, the bottom is actually a skort so it’s super comfortable to wear and easy to walk around it.
