Liquid lipstick is definitely a huge trend this summer!! And I can’t deny that I didn’t get on with the trend. I have made quite a few purchases in the past month or so, building up that liquid lipstick collection of mine. Purchasing from different brands, I can definitely found my favourites.
NYX has quite a collection of liquid lipsticks and the new Liquid suede collection is actually my favourite out of all the liquid lipsticks I had tried. It has a great consistency, smooth and matte finish, the pigmentation and colour is out of the question, they’re incredibly amazing. Having say that, I’m still trying to get my hands on some of the Colorpop liquid lipsticks, as I heard a lot of good reviews about them. But the NYX suede lipsticks will have to do. Besides the suede collection, I did get my hands on other liquid lipsticks that I can find.
The Relvon lipsticks are the ones I first got my hands on, I have heard a lot about liquid lipsticks and finally want to give it a try; I immediately felt in love with them. And my obsession grows more and more overtime and I started to research more about what’s out there. It’s when I discovered my love for NYX lipsticks, I started out with the soft matte lips cream and of course I had to go for the nude colours. The more I use, the more I felt in love and then Liquid Suede came out on top!!! Absolutely amazing!!!!
I’ve also included a much highend lipsticks from Estée Lauder, I got this as a birthday present but I still want to include it in because it goes to show how big of a trend liquid lipsticks are this summer, they’re literally everywhere, from high-street to high-end.
Hope some of these shades give you some ideas of the shade you would like to get for summer! I find that pink and nude shades come out on top, they’re a little too intense when it comes to red or orange shades, it just doesn’t work well for me. But maybe they will work for you, liquid lipstick is definitely the trend you should get on with this summer.
